She & Him - Baby, It’s Cold Outside
-…for my wonderful, loving, in-tact family, and the privilege of being able to be completely honest with them.
-….for my awesome friends, with whom the words “awkward silence”—no matter how many miles or years pass between us—do not apply.
-…for my good health, and the ability and means to seek treatment when it’s less than good.
-…for the chance at a medical education and career. I know I complain a lot, but I couldn’t be more grateful for the chance to compete and the opportunity to be the ultimate public servant: a physician.
-…for that fateful day many years ago where I was able to come to this—despite its room for improvement—absolutely amazing country. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else, ever.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Ye Eun & Sunye - When You Believe
(HQ rip - 256kbps; 8.7MB)
http://www.mediafire.com/?76y0i0vy1d03n002Ye do it again. The amazingly on-point English, the always technically sound vocal cartwheels and of course, the raw, overflowing emotion these two are so famous for. Disproving WG vocal doubters since 2007!
There is also a certain element of truth that really strikes a chord with them in this song, I believe. It’s almost as if their struggles in the US culminate in this song, and yet, true to WG form, they are resilient. They’re telling us and the world that they’re gonna keep believing and gonna keep trying. All while making Whitney and Mariah proud.
Although there’s “much to fear”, keep on “moving [those] mountains”, girls.
Sunye & Yeeun - 두고두고 (live at Boom’s Young Street)
download → mediafire | 8.48mbStill not over this duet. No words can describe how much I love this song. I think it may be my favorite track on the album itself. I can never get tired of watching Sunye sing. The emotions she put into the song is incredible (just look at her face when she sings). And then there’s Yeeun. I honestly think she’s one of the most underrated vocalists in Kpop. There’s just something about her voice that I love. The duet blew me away. Too beautiful.
This is one of the many reasons why when the K-idol mania dies down, Sunye and Ye Eun will remain as legit vocalists/true singers. Mature voices, mature women…real heart.
